The Sun> My name is Blaze. So people are always telling me to “blaze away.” But do they mean “be brilliant?” Or “go away, Blaze?” I choose being brilliant. I plan to dazzle you with my favorite topic: light.
What is light? Here’s how I look at it: Light is a kind of <#5376,19><!energy> that you can see. But sometimes, not seeing is believing. Imagine a pitch dark room (no light anywhere). Could you see your own hand? No way. Not even night vision masters such as cats could see it. In order for eyes to see, some amount of light must be present.
Where does light come from? All light comes from somewhere. And the biggest source of light on Earth isn’t even on the planet. It’s the sun. The sun’s light can turn night into day. No other source of light comes close to doing that (not even me, the ultra-brilliant Blaze). Without the sun’s light, Earth would be a dark, frozen, lifeless rock.
